1. Agreement to terms
By accessing or using Ground8 ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service. The Service is provided by Ground8 Ltd, registered in England and Wales.
2. Description of service
Ground8 is a property compliance management platform designed for UK portfolio landlords. The Service provides compliance tracking, document storage, deadline management, and reporting tools. The Service is provided as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution.
3. Account registration
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.
4. Subscription and billing
The Service is offered on a subscription basis with monthly or annual billing. Prices are displayed on our pricing page and may be updated with 30 days' notice. All prices are in GBP and inclusive of VAT where applicable. Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
5. Free trial
New users may be eligible for a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial period, you will need to subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the Service. Trial accounts that are not converted will be deactivated.
6. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to the Service until the end of your current billing period. After cancellation, your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion.
7. Data and content
You retain ownership of all data you upload to the Service. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. You grant us a limited licence to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
8. Disclaimer
The Service is a compliance management tool and does not constitute legal advice. While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information about UK property legislation, you should always consult with a qualified legal professional for specific compliance questions.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ground8 Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
